Roxanne, Level 5/Salon Manager

Roxanne is the Salon Manager and a Level 5 Stylist at Chroma Salon’s Downtown Seattle location, adjacent to the historic Alexis Hotel. With over 20 years of experience behind the chair and a background in stylist education, Roxanne is known for her transformative work in color, cut, and styling, as well as her warm, thoughtful approach to guest care.

A 2002 graduate of Gene Juarez Academy in Seattle, Roxanne began mentoring other stylists early in her career. She started in-salon education in 2004 and became an Aveda Certified Color Trainer in 2007, sharing her expertise and love for plant-based color with others throughout the salon industry. In 2012, she began specializing in wedding hairstyles, offering timeless yet trend-aware looks for brides and formal events.

Roxanne is passionate about helping guests through style transitions—especially those growing out short hair—and loves to mix things up with fun fashion colors, dimensional balayage, and custom hair painting. She takes pride in creating a complete, polished look that reflects each guest’s lifestyle and personality.

She has completed numerous advanced education courses through Aveda and stays inspired by ever-evolving trends in hair design, color theory, and guest experience.

Originally from Maui, Roxanne has called Washington home for most of her life. When she’s not at the salon, she enjoys quilting, wine tasting, and spending time with her husband and their two sons at home in Seattle—alongside their two occasionally lovable cats.

Her favorite Aveda product is the Volumizing Tonic, which she swears by for its fresh aroma and the full-bodied lift it gives every style.
