A trim is typically a quick service to tidy up specific areas, like bangs or the nape of the neck, and doesn’t involve reshaping the overall style. It’s a quick maintenance service rather than a full haircut.
A haircut, on the other hand, is booked for an hour and includes washing, cutting, and styling. Even if you’re just looking to take off a small amount from the ends to freshen up your style, it still requires the full service time to properly wash, cut, blow-dry, and style your hair. Whether you’re trimming an inch or more, the process remains the same to ensure your hair looks polished and styled when you leave the salon.
If you’re not sure whether you need a Trim or a Haircut, feel free to reach out! Our team is happy to guide you in booking the right service.

Arrive with your hair as you normally wear it—clean and dry is typically best. If you’re coming in for a color service, slightly unwashed hair can help protect your scalp, but it shouldn’t be overly dirty or have heavy product buildup.
Additionally, if you use a spray color in between color services, please be sure to thoroughly wash it out before your next color service, as residue can affect how the new color absorbs.

Balayage is a technique where enlightener is painted onto the hair to create a natural, sun-kissed look with soft, blended transitions. While balayage is often associated with freehand painting, it doesn’t necessarily mean that foils won’t be used—sometimes we use a combination of both to achieve the desired brightness and lift.
A foil, on the other hand, involves sectioning the hair and wrapping enlightener in foils for more structured, consistent highlights. This technique is great for a more uniform, dramatic result.
If you’re not sure which to choose, just book a consultation! Your stylist can help determine which technique will give you the look you’re going for.

Both toners and glosses are great for enhancing your hair’s color and shine, but they serve slightly different purposes.
A Gloss is typically a clear color treatment used to boost shine, leaving your hair looking vibrant and polished. When guests ask for a gloss, they’re usually looking for that smooth, glossy finish without changing the hair’s color.'
A Toner, on the other hand, is similar but contains pigment to adjust your hair’s tone. We use toners to neutralize unwanted hues (like brassiness) or enhance certain tones (like cool or warm shades). Essentially, a toner is a gloss with a little extra color magic!
Both will leave your hair looking shiny and refreshed, but a toner is your go-to if you’re looking to tweak your hair’s tone as well.
-
In many cases, yes! Toners are commonly used with lightening services to achieve the perfect shade, like creating an icy blonde or neutralizing brassiness. If you’re booking a lightening service, it’s a good idea to plan for a toner as part of the process.
Toners can also be added to a haircut or blowout in between color services to refresh and maintain your desired tone. Your stylist will recommend whether a toner is needed based on your hair goals and the specific service you’re receiving.
-
Yes! Most of our haircut and color services include a round brush blow-dry and style. If you’re looking for a specific finish, like extra curls or flat iron work, make sure to book a thermal tool styling service. This ensures we have enough time to create your desired look.

Our tier system reflects a stylist’s experience, education, and demand. Higher-level stylists often have more advanced training and a fuller schedule. While all of our stylists are highly skilled, those at higher levels have spent more time honing their craft and may have additional certifications. You can choose the stylist level that best fits your preferences and budget.

The difference between a Haircut and a Clipper Cut isn’t just about hair length—it’s really about the technique, detail, and time required to achieve the desired look.
A Haircut involves more detailed scissor work and is typically booked for an hour. This service is ideal for styles that go past the ears or require precision, like a pixie or any cut that involves significant shaping and finishing. Even if the hair is short, if it requires intricate cutting techniques and more styling, it’s considered a haircut.
A Clipper Cut primarily uses clippers and is generally quicker, booked for 45 minutes. This type of cut is often geared toward shorter, barber-style looks where the clippers do most of the work and minimal styling is needed afterward.
