Cynthia, Level 4/Salon Manager

Cynthia is a Level 4 Stylist and Salon Manager at Chroma Salon’s Downtown Seattle location, where she combines expert technical skills with a personalized, inclusive approach to hair care. A proud Washington native and graduate of the Gary Manuel Aveda Institute in Seattle, Cynthia has been styling hair since 2015 and has built a reputation for precision color, curly hair care, and fashion-forward styling.

She began her career in a luxury salon setting, where she specialized in advanced color placement techniques and trained in multiple professional color lines. She’s taken classes with several celebrity stylists, including Jon Reyman, and even worked backstage at New York Fashion Week in 2015, where she perfected the art of creating long-lasting blowouts and voluminous styles under high-pressure conditions.

Cynthia has a special passion for working with curly and highly textured hair—a passion rooted in her own personal experience. She loves helping clients embrace and understand their natural texture, offering guidance on product use, styling techniques, and customized curly cuts.

She is also known for her skill with bold fashion shades, rich reds, and dimensional blondes, creating vibrant, expressive color while prioritizing the health of the hair. Her guests appreciate her meticulous attention to detail, her deep knowledge of products and technique, and her warm, conversational style behind the chair.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Cynthia proudly serves a diverse clientele and creates a welcoming space for all guests.

Outside of the salon, Cynthia is a devoted Seattle sports fan—you can often find her cheering on the Seahawks or Sounders when she's not crafting great hair.

Her favorite Aveda product is the Smooth Infusion Glossing Straightener, which helps tame frizz, add shine, and keep hair smooth and sleek, no matter the weather.
